Welcome to Kuenphen Adventure. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the travel services, tours, experiences, and arrangements provided by Kuenphen Adventure.
By submitting an inquiry, requesting a quotation, or booking a trip through us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About Kuenphen Adventure
Kuenphen Adventure is a Bhutan-based tourism service provider offering travel planning, guided tours, cultural experiences, trekking adventures, accommodation arrangements, transportation, and other travel-related services in Bhutan. All services are subject to availability and applicable laws, regulations, and requirements of Bhutan.
2. Booking and Reservations
A booking request submitted through our website does not automatically constitute a confirmed reservation.
Your booking becomes confirmed only after:

Your itinerary has been agreed upon;

The required information and documents have been provided;

The applicable payment or deposit has been received; and

Kuenphen Adventure has confirmed the booking in writing.
Availability of hotels, flights, transportation, guides, activities, and other services is subject to confirmation by the relevant service providers.
3. Customized Itineraries
We specialize in creating personalized travel experiences.
Itineraries may be adjusted according to your interests, travel dates, budget, fitness level, accommodation preferences, weather conditions, local events, transportation availability, and other practical considerations.
We reserve the right to modify an itinerary when reasonably necessary for safety, operational, environmental, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Where possible, we will inform you of significant changes and provide a suitable alternative.
4. Prices and Quotations
All quotations provided by Kuenphen Adventure are based on the information available at the time of preparation.
Prices may vary depending on:

Number of travelers;

Accommodation category;

Transportation requirements;

Activities and excursions;

Changes in government fees or tourism requirements;

Currency exchange rates; and

Changes in supplier prices.

A quotation is not considered a final booking until it has been accepted and confirmed by Kuenphen Adventure. Unless specifically stated otherwise, government fees, flights, personal expenses, travel insurance, and other excluded services are not included in the quoted tour price.
5. Payments
Payment requirements will be communicated to you during the booking process.
The amount and payment deadline may vary depending on the itinerary and services included.
Failure to make payment by the agreed deadline may result in the cancellation or release of reservations.
Any applicable bank charges, transaction fees, or currency conversion charges may be the responsibility of the traveler unless otherwise agreed.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation terms depend on the services included in your itinerary and the cancellation policies of hotels, airlines, transportation providers, activity operators, and other suppliers.
Any applicable cancellation charges will be communicated to you as part of your booking confirmation.
Where a refund is applicable, the amount refunded will be calculated after deducting any non-refundable payments, supplier charges, government fees, banking charges, or other applicable costs.
Refund processing times may depend on the payment method and third-party financial institutions.
7. Changes to Your Booking
If you wish to change your travel dates, accommodation, activities, number of travelers, or other arrangements after confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, subject to availability and any additional costs imposed by service providers.
8. Travel Documents and Entry Requirements
Travelers are responsible for providing accurate information and ensuring that they hold the necessary passports, visas, permits, travel documents, and other required documentation.
Kuenphen Adventure may assist travelers with relevant travel procedures, but the final responsibility for ensuring that travel documents are valid remains with the traveler. Government entry requirements may change. Travelers should follow the latest requirements issued by the relevant Bhutanese authorities and other applicable authorities.
9. Flights and Transportation
Flight schedules, routes, availability, and fares are controlled by airlines and are outside our direct control.
Transportation within Bhutan may be affected by road conditions, weather, traffic, maintenance, natural events, or other circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and arrange suitable alternatives where possible.
10. Accommodation
Accommodation is arranged according to the agreed itinerary and selected category.
Hotel names may occasionally change due to availability or operational circumstances. Where a change is necessary, we will seek accommodation of a similar standard whenever reasonably possible.
Specific room requests, views, beds, and other preferences are subject to availability.
11. Trekking and Adventure Activities
Some activities offered by Kuenphen Adventure may involve physical exertion, altitude, uneven terrain, changing weather, and inherent risks.
Travelers are responsible for informing us of any relevant limitations that may affect their ability to participate safely.
We may recommend or require changes to an activity when conditions are considered unsuitable or unsafe.
Travelers are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance covering trekking, adventure activities, medical expenses, evacuation, cancellation, and other relevant risks.
12. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance before traveling to Bhutan.
Insurance should appropriately cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, baggage loss, delays, and adventure or trekking activities where applicable. Kuenphen Adventure is not responsible for costs that are covered or should reasonably have been covered by the traveler's insurance.
13. Personal Belongings
Travelers are responsible for their passports, money, electronic devices, luggage, valuables, and personal belongings throughout their journey.
Kuenphen Adventure will make reasonable efforts to assist travelers in the event of lost property but cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
14. Traveler Conduct
Travelers are expected to respect Bhutanese laws, customs, religious practices, cultural traditions, local communities, wildlife, and the natural environment.
Visitors should behave respectfully when entering monasteries, temples, dzongs, villages, and other sacred or culturally significant places.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where a traveler's conduct creates a serious risk to other travelers, staff, local communities, property, or the environment.
15. Photography and Cultural Respect
Travelers should follow local rules regarding photography and filming, particularly inside religious and cultural sites.
Permission should be obtained before photographing individuals where appropriate.
16. Force Majeure
Kuenphen Adventure shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations, losses, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, landslides, road closures, epidemics or pandemics, government restrictions, political disturbances, strikes, transportation disruptions, flight cancellations, or other unforeseen events. We will make reasonable efforts to assist travelers and arrange alternatives where possible.
17. Third-Party Services
Some services arranged by Kuenphen Adventure are provided by independent third parties, including airlines, hotels, restaurants, transportation providers, activity operators, and other suppliers.
We will work with reputable service providers but cannot control circumstances entirely within the control of those third parties. Their respective terms and conditions may also apply.
18. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on our website is accurate and current.
However, photographs, descriptions, prices, availability, itineraries, and other information may change without prior notice. Website content is provided for general travel information and does not guarantee the availability or delivery of any particular service.
19. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, videos, designs, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Kuenphen Adventure unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially use our content without prior written permission.
20. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website and submitting information through our forms, you acknowledge that your information may be collected and used for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
21. Complaints
We encourage travelers to notify us as soon as possible if they experience a problem during their journey so that we have an opportunity to resolve it promptly.
Complaints should be communicated to our team during the trip wherever reasonably possible.

22. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Any dispute shall, where possible, first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the traveler and Kuenphen Adventure. Where a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be referred to the appropriate forum under applicable Bhutanese law.
23. Changes to These Terms
Kuenphen Adventure may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or applicable requirements.
