Traveling Today to Bhutan.
Despite the inherent fears of the pandemic, the months of isolation have caused our spirit for travel adventure to bust at the seams. In our desire to pack our bags to explore and breathe free, the selection of the destination has become more important than ever – safe travels has taken on a whole new meaning. In addition to the many safety parameters considered before, COVID-19 has provided a whole new checklist to be considered.

Travels and adventures are undertaken to free and rejuvenate the body, mind and soul. After a long hiatus, the opportunity to break free seems possible with countries and societies slowly opening up. Having been held prisoner in our rooms, homes and cities for the past months, there is this inherent desire to break free.
Studies have reported that the the novel corona virus is here to stay and it’s eradication is not going to be as easy as initially supposed. Learning to live with and at the same time fulfill the travelers spirit in us amidst this pandemic requires fine maneuvering skills. We would avoid densely populated places, avoid cities and definitely avoid populations reporting high cases of internal transmissions. We would look to nature, to free open and safe spaces – all of which are offered in abundance in Bhutan. Bhutan has always remained an elusive destination given it’s controlled tourism policy and up until today, reports no case of internal transmissions making Bhutan a top safe travel destination. Bhutan’s cautious approach to dealing with the pandemic, the strict policies and effective health measures put in place, has made her a safe haven for travelers.
In Bhutan despite the pandemic, nothing much has changed – our pristine mountains and hiking trails wait to be explored, our historical dzongs stand tall albeit less crowded, our prayer flags continue to flutter, our rivers and streams still run pure, and our people hale and hearty yet.

So if you are looking to set free your travelers spirit all the while not throwing caution to the winds, come to Destination Bhutan. Wish you safe travels.
Bhutan - Safest destination in the world.
