One will also hear about the brave, the most generous and an extraordinary king who loves its people so much and he is always seen available to each and every helpless Bhutanese. He is like no other leaders of the world, he stands as the kindest soul on the Land of Thunder Dragon. One visiting Bhutan wouldn’t dare to leave without being curious to learn more about our great leader.
Bhutan is also known for its ancient temples, stunning landscapes, for its culture and tradition and its foods. Into the world of Bhutan, everything around is so colorful. The colorful unique paintings on the ancient temples and on dzongs and the tshechu (annual religious festival) add an extra uniqueness. Dzongs are decorated in various colors, with a typical bhutanese architecture. It is used as the administrative center. The most interesting part of dzongs are, they were built without using a single nail in the past.

Mask Dance
The annual religious festival, Tshechu is conducted in all the dzongs and major monasteries. People from near and far gather together wearing their best dresses. Mask dances and some cultural items are performed during tshechu. It is worth watching for the one who visits bhutan.
Museums are another way to dig into the history of Bhutan. Ta dzong and the National Museum of Bhutan holds all those bhutanese histories from the 8th century during the times of the great Guru Padmasambhava.
Mountain climbing is another greater experience a person will have in Bhutan. Mountain trekking is unavoided by every visitor in Bhutan. The challenging routes but the worth watching views makes no person regret at the end of their treks. Bold and the people wearing the most beautiful smiles, so called the highlanders will be seen welcoming every visitor giving their best smiles with some red cheeks.
Yet there are some famous unclimbed mountains where the Government of Bhutan has put on a restriction. People will tell you the stories which they always believed that there are abodes of deities and spirits in those mountains. You would notice that Bhutanese are really religious minded. The secret behind the peaceful living of the people is because they follow Buddhism. Buddhism plays a greater role here. They take it as their way of living rather than just a religion. One’s generous soul and the helping hand rises from it.
There are many more to be seen in Bhutan, much more than those above mentioned. Bhutan begins with peace and ends with the smile on each and every individuals. It is a place filled with its beauties, astonishing facts from the past and the only happy people existing on earth. One who misses to visit bhutan, misses to find the true meaning of happiness.
